Security Attacks in MANET: A Complete Analysis

MANETs are distributive in nature due to which they lack central controlling authority and thus are prone to attacks. Because of its use in real-time applications, research on MANETs has recently become increasingly popular. These networks are utilized in real-time applications such as disaster relief and battlefield communication. Sensor nodes used in MANETs sometimes carry very crucial information. As a result of this major security risk, we focus on several sorts of security assaults in this research, as well as existing mitigation strategies. In this paper, various attacks in MANET are briefly explained. The study of these attacks is helpful to prevent networks from security challenges.
