Abstract
A fractal-shaped two port triple band rejection capability UWB-MIMO antenna is designed and also examined in this communication. The proposed antenna has developed on the low cost roger substrate with total size of the substrate 12 mm x 45 mm and has relative permittivity of the 2.3 with thickness of 0.8 mm. The fractal-shaped geometry is carved in the patch component and ground plane is utilized to obtained wide impedance bandwidth 2 GHz - 20 GHz. The patch element is carved with fractal shaped geometry and a partial ground plane is used to attain a broad impedance bandwidth of 2 Ghz to 20 Ghz. Triple band rejection characteristics is introduced into the proposed antenna by creating U shaped slot with in feed-line. The antenna parameters are separated from one another by placing them orthogonally and by inserting E-shaped ground stubs between them. TARC, ECC, diversity gain and surface current are all used to examine the antenna's MIMO performance. The suggested Multiple Input Multiple Output antenna is rejected frequency bands 2.8 Ghz - 3.5 Ghz, 4.2 Ghz-4.8 Ghz, and 7.4 Ghz - 7.8 Ghz. These triple notch bands are WLAN/Wi-Fi, military fixed and mobile communications, and point to point communication. Isolation less than −25 dB, lower value of ECC (< 0,001) and good band rejection capacity of the antenna is desirable to deploy the proposed antenna for UWB applications.
