Abstract
This paper has detailed description on petrological characteristics, pore type as well as physical characteristics, and it analyses the main controlling factor of reservoir development in combination with sedimentation and rock formation. Based on the data of sections, X-diffraction, scanning electron microscope, rock mercury sections, physical properties analysis, the reservoir characteristics and controlling factors of E 3 1 reservoir in Qie 6 block of Kunbei Oilfield in Qaidam Basin are systematically' comprehensively, detailedly studied. The result shows that the elastic rocks are mainly lithic arkose and feldspathic litharenite with low constitutional maturity and moderate-high textural maturity. The primary intergranular pores are the main reservoir spaces, with the secondary porosity zones and crevice followed. The average porosity of this area is 14.37%, and the average permeability is 35.10×10 -3 μm 2 . As low porosity and low permeability reservoir, it is mostly controlled by sedimentation, diagenesis and tectinization, among which the sedimentation and diagenes are the main controlling factors.The characteristics and controlling factors of E 3 1 reservoirin Qie 6 block of Kunbei Oilfield in Qaidam Basin are studied systematical, comprehensively, and detailedly, then the research has enriched and perfected the geological knowledge of the area.
