摘要
•RSV infects primarily ciliated cells in the bronchial airway epithelium.•RSV-induced expanded ciliated cells contribute to bronchial wall thickening.•RSV NS2, cytokines (INF-L1 and TNF-α) and chemokines (IP10/CXCL10), and ARP2/3-complex driven actin polymerization are more likely to involve RSV-induced infected ciliated cell expansion.
