摘要
•Contemporary guidelines are available for standardized reporting of complications after urological procedures.•Despite meticulous, guideline-adherent complication reporting, partial nephrectomy is a safe procedure.•The Comprehensive Complication Index (CCI®) is superior in mirroring cumulative morbidity compared to using the Clavien-Dindo classification alone.•Preoperative nephrometry scores correlate with cumulative morbidity after partial nephrectomy, but the clinical relevance is vague.
