Abstract
To examine (1) the prevalence of physical and psychological symptoms reported by U.S. embryologists related to their occupation, and how workplace fatigue and burnout may affect their quality of life, professional outlook, efficiency, safety, and attention to detail, (2) to determine how the current workflow and organizational characteristics of the embryology laboratory affect embryologists’ physical and psychological health; and (3) the potential measures that can be taken to improve both working conditions and embryologists’ health and well-being, and patient care.
