REVIEW: RESEARCH PROGRESS OF nZVI MODIFIED MATERIALS IN WATER TREATMENT

nZVI is an advanced water treatment material discovered in recent years, which has the characteristics of efficient degradation of organic pollutants, low cost and no secondary pollution, so it is a promising environmentally friendly material. However, nZVI is easily oxidized and agglomerated, which seriously affects its water treatment effect. It has been found that the stability and safety of nZVI can be effectively improved by loading nZVI into other materials for water treatment. This paper mainly introduces the action principle and preparation method of nZVI and the action principle of nZVI modified materials in water treatment, and expounds the research progress of nZVI loaded composites in water treatment, which can provide technical guidance for the application of nZVI in water treatment.
