Abstract
The infamous digitization of the modern information society would not be possible without increasingly advanced public mobile networks. After more than 40 years since the first implementation of the cellular radio network, it has become an indispensable communication infrastructure for everyone, which serves to connect all mobile devices, even those stationary ones where the cost of wired connectivity is too high. In the latest version of wireless mobile public networks, this is the current fifth generation (5G), which in terms of performance meets the demands of modern users and brings other advantages in addition to mobility. The 5G mobile network will probably not offer us everything we expected from it, only the next generation will bring much. Based on the development of the previous five generations (1G-5G), we can expect the next, sixth generation (6G) around 2030, which will be the next technological step. The 6G technology, which will be better than the previous ones in all parameters, is being developed primarily for the welfare of humanity and will also serve us as a good tool in the fight against modern challenges of humanity, such as epidemics and natural disasters, since we will be able to monitor how people move, and save lives without violating the user's privacy.
