Abstract
The mechanoluminescence (ML) of GdCa4O(BO3)(3): Sm, Cu, Tb, Mn, Sb are studied and synthesized by a solid-state reaction process. The section clarity, crystallinity and configuration of the material are established by XRD while the FTIR spectrum of the sample confirms its practical cluster (BO3)(3) and phonon frequency of the molecules in the host. B-O triangle structure defines its constructional inflexibility. Photoluminescence (PL)of GdCa4O(BO3)(3) with dopants Cu-0.2mol%, Mn-0.2mol%,Mn- Tb-0.1mol%,Tb- Sm-0.2mol%,Sm- Sb-0.1mol% and its transition confirms the incorporation of dopant within the host material. The ready phosphor could also be vital for stress sensing applications and accidental radiation measurement as it responds linearly to gamma-ray dose and impact rate of the piston is very less sensitive for lower exposure and also it has very low fading, on storage.
