Abstract
Dear Editor, The reproductive division of labor between reproduc-tive and non-reproductive castes is regarded as a hallmark of the evolution of eusociality and is vital to the ecolog-ical success of social insects(Wilson,1971;Wilson&Holldobler,2005).The social systems of hymenopterans and termites have attracted much attention;however,so-cial organization has also been found in some tiny aphids of the Hemiptera.Social aphids are generally found in the subfamilies Hormaphidinae and Eriosomatinae.
