Research on Optimization Method of Free Space Optical Link Model Considering Pointing Error

It is of great significance to study the effect of pointing error for analyzing the performance of free-space optical communication systems. In this paper, the mathematical model of the accurate analytical solution of the channel gain of the space laser communication system under the circular aperture of the Gaussian beam intensity distribution is optimized., and on this basis, the channel model of the free space optical communication system under the influence of atmospheric turbulence is further analyzed, and the joint probability density function of the channel gain under the influence of atmospheric turbulence and pointing error is deduced. The effect of channel gain is simulated and compared with a square aperture approximation model. The results show that, compared with the square aperture approximation model, the gain error can reach up to 72.6% when calculating the channel, the optimization model of the circular aperture is more suitable for the channel gain analysis of free space optical communication.
