Relevance of modern technologies for sustainability-focused road freight transport service management in a competitive market

The article presents the results of research aimed at determination of the relevance of modern technologies for sustainability-focused road freight transport service, its quality management areas and competitiveness from the perspective of the representatives of road freight transport enterprises. The achievement of the goal was carried out by conducting research based on the data collected through the use of the survey technique. The data collected from 140 road freight transport enterprises were scrutinized using exploratory factor analysis and the estimation of the factors’ consistency using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The research procedure allowed for the identification of the interconnections between the 9 determined factors and their numerous components describing the perception of selected modern technologies for sustainability-focused road freight transport service, spheres of the quality management and competitiveness of the enterprises.
