Construction of Cylindrical Vector Wave Function and Its Application in Cylindrical Waveguide

By using the dyadic Green's function method, the electromagnetic field engineering problem is solved to construct the dyadic Green's function. The function is obviously different for different coordinate systems and even difficult to describe. Based on the scalar wave function with discrete eigenvalues in the cylindrical coordinate system, the vector wave function in this system and its orthonormal property are studied, and the first type of electric dyadic Green's function in the cylindrical waveguide is deduced in detail. The function provides a theoretical basis and method guidance for the DGF method to deal with boundary value problems of electromagnetic fields such as cylindrical waveguides.
