A Survey of Patents on Boron Neutron Capture Therapy in China

Based on the analyses of the current patents related to Boron Neutron Capture Therapy(BNCT) in China, this study aims to promote the research, production and clinical applications of BNCT. The data of this paper were obtained from www.rainpat.com - the website of Jiangsu Runtong Data Service Co., Ltd. The present patents cover fields such as neutron source, dose monitoring, image guiding equipment, beam moderation and beam shaping, et al. From the perspective of patents, China's BNCT research and products are still at the very beginning stage. To catch up with the world's leading levels, China's BNCT groups need breakthrough theories, methods and technologies.
