Abstract
•TMF tests were investigated on specimens manufactured by precision casting with holes.•TMF deformational behaviors of the specimen with holes were studied.•The stress concentration at the hole led to crack nucleation and final failure.•A TMF life prediction method based on stress concentration was proposed.
