摘要
To the Editor: Methamphetamine is a stimulant drug that is associated with a broad spectrum of health conditions, including addiction, mental health disorders, and overdose. Methamphetamine use has increased in the United States, with an estimated 14 million annual adult users.1 Marginalized populations, including those who are HIV-infected, homeless, and LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender & Queer)-identifying, are disproportionately affected by methamphetamine abuse.2 Literature on cutaneous manifestations among methamphetamine users is limited, although cellulitis, delusions of parasitosis (DOP), hyperhidrosis, formication, and prurigo nodularis (PN) have been attributed to methamphetamine use.
