•Cognitive flexibility, depression, and work performance was assessed in workers.•Participant age bracket groups: 20-30, 30-40, 40-50, 50-60 (each n = 20; N = 80).•There were no significant age-related differences in cognitive flexibility scores.•No correlations between cognitive flexibility, depression, and work performance.•Limitations: small sample, online vs. in person assessments due to COVID-19.
