Frontispiece: Current State of [Fe]‐Hydrogenase and Its Biomimetic Models

Over the last three decades, great achievements have been made in the study of [Fe]-hydrogenase, including structural and functional characterization, catalytic mechanism, FeGP cofactor biosynthesis, biomimetic model development and artificial enzyme construction. Pan, Huang et al. summarize the current state of this research field in their Review (DOI: 10.1002/chem.202201499) and briefly discuss potential opportunities and challenges for the application of this enzyme.
