摘要
Biofortification is a novel approach for exploiting a sound relationship between soil and plants for improving human micronutrition. This review indulged to overcome the targeted trace elements deficiencies in major agronomic crops and the cons side of biofortification. According to the study, food from the agricultural crops is suppressed with vital elements such as Fe, Se, Zn, I, etc. Micronutrient deficiencies are crucial problems in many nations like Nepal, India Pakistan, Afghanistan and so on. In addition, it is estimated that about two-third of the globe populations is suffering from two or more important minerals. This can be puzzle out through effective food fortification, developing new genotypic plants with higher efficiency, bioavailability of minerals through biofortification. Moreover, bioavailability trials in different cases especially related to humans and animals should be prioritized in order to optimize the biofortification program.
