Wireless Charging Technologies and Standardization for Electric Unmanned Crafts

This paper provides an overview of wireless charging technologies and standardization, while reporting on our latest original work done in the analysis and design of charging power converters and inductive contactless coils, and in the product development of wireless chargers for mobile robots. The partnership, between Singapore Institute of Technology and Xnergy, has pushed the power electronics for contactless charging of electric unmanned crafts, with very focused design thinking towards standardization, interoperability, commercialization, and export sales in mind.
