Abstract
An efficient wideband scattering analysis method for the large-scale finite periodic structures is proposed by combining the macro block-characteristic basis function (MB-CBF) method with the rational interpolation. A reduced matrix equation can be obtained using the MB-CBF method. The matrix elements have to be recalculated if used for broadband response analysis. Generation of the matrix elements is accelerated by introducing the rational interpolation. Numerical simulation results demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of our proposed method.
