摘要

•Ab-initio global explorations of supported metal clusters are carried out.•DFT calculations are performed on Re-Pt clusters supported on γ-alumina.•Most favorable nucleation pathways are obtained.•Electron transfer between cluster and support is analyzed through Bader analysis.
