Poor Heart Disease and Health Services Knowledge in Chinese Immigrants With Limited English Language

In immigrant populations already experiencing health disadvantages, lack of heart-disease related knowledge is an additional barrier to symptom recognition, treatment adherence and secondary prevention uptake. However, little is known of the health information and education needs of Chinese immigrants who have heart disease in Australia, therefore we investigated heart disease-related health information and service needs in this population.
