Dual functional catalysis of [Nb6O19]8−-modified Au/Al2O3

Supported Au nanoparticles modified with basic Lindqvist-type [Nb6O19]8− clusters were fabricated by a simple adsorption method and exhibited efficient reduction activity for p-nitrophenol due to the base and reduction dual functional catalysis.
