MO13-1 Geriatric-8 scores of elderly Japanese patients with cancer at the introduction of chemotherapy; A retrospective study

The indications for chemotherapy in elderly patients with cancer require careful considerations due to their impaired visceral functions or complications. Recently, some guidelines advocate the importance of assessing geriatric health conditions rather than focusing on chronological age; evidence is yet to be fully established. Geriatric-8 (G8) is one of the assessment tools for elderly patients with cancer. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between G8 score and age among elderly Japanese patients with cancer.
