We have previously shown that chronic exposure to some drugs (e.g., dofetilide [DOF]) that carry a high risk of torsades de pointes (TdP) not only block IKr but can also increase late INa (INa-L), while this is not seen with low-risk IKr blockers (e.g., moxifloxacin [MOX]).
