Research on the Surface Integrity and Fatigue Behavior of Grinding Ni-Based Superalloy GH4169DA

In order to study the grinding surface integrity and fatigue behavior of GH4169DA, through fatigue life experiments, the influence model of fatigue life and grinding process parameters and surface integrity characteristics was established, and the corresponding influence laws were revealed, and the three-dimensional topography and the fatigue fracture of the grinding surface was further analyzed, optimize the grinding parameter process domain and test the corresponding grinding surface metamorphic layer. The results show that the fatigue life decreases significantly with the increase of the radial feed, and decreases significantly with the increase of the surface roughness; the grinding surface roughness Ra of the optimal process is 178.20nm, and the surface texture and microstructure have no significant change, the ground surface is compressive residual stress and the affected layer is about 40 μm; the ground surface is slightly hardened and the changed layer is about 30 μm. The results provide the experimental data basis for the anti-fatigue grinding technology of nickel-based superalloys.
