摘要

•The lipophilicity and pKa of fentanyl was investigated by reversed-phase TLC.•The lipophilicity and pKa were also set on for 16 fentanyl analogues.•pKa was calculated using ratio between analyte retention time and mobile phase pH.•The calculated pKa of fentanyl is 8.65, which is in accordance with the literature data.•The BBB permeation was best correlated with C0MeOH, PSA and MW.
