Abstract
•The nanocomposites comprised of Ti3C2 and transition metal oxide were fabricated.•MXene enhances the adsorption of the catalyst, improving the mass transferring.•The adsorption capacities of SnO2/ML-Ti3C2 for MB dye molecules are 163 mg/g.•The synergy of adsorption and photocatalysis improves the pollutant removal.
