摘要
BackgroundConductive yarns allow collection of biosignals such as ECG with electrodes knitted in comfortable wearable garments. These form factors however have ad-hoc ECG leads not commonly used by health professionals. Objective:To investigate concordance between the ECG waveforms collected with textile and gel electrodes, and identify which of the standard 12 leads correlates most with ECG from a chest band device.MethodsA 30 sec segment of clean signal was selected from the ECG recorded in 16 participants (12 males, 63±14 years, 198±42 lb) from a textile chest band (Skiin, Myant Inc) and an ECG machine (PC-ECG 1200HR, Norav Medical). After filtering and verifying temporal alignment, R-peaks were detected for each ECG lead and used to crop a 600ms template for each beat. Each template was normalized proportionally to its absolute maximal amplitude to allow quantitative waveform comparison. A median template was obtained by calculating sample by sample the median value of the beat samples temporarily aligned on their R-peaks. For each of the 3 median templates from the textile chest band, a concordance correlation coefficient (CCC) was calculated with each of the 12 leads of the standard system (36 CCC per participant).ResultsThe ECG pairs with highest CCC values are detailled in Table 1 and illustrated in Figure 1. Textile channel 1 concorded most with lead-V6 [.90;.99;1] (min;median;max). Textile channel 2 concorded most with lead-V4 [.79;.96;.99]. Textile channel 3 concorded most with lead-V5 [.73;.98;1]. Amongst the 48 CCC for these 3 best pairs, the only 2 CCC below 0.85 happened for 2 participants with arrhythmia in the selected 30 seconds.ConclusionCross Correlation Coefficients for the three pairs of ECG matching most between textile channels and standard gelParticipantChannel 1 and Lead V6Channel 2 and Lead V4Channel 3 and Lead V5P10.9930.9560.975P20.9740.9730.967P30.8980.9900.976P40.9910.9520.726P50.9960.8670.924P60.9720.9740.995P70.9840.9920.996P80.9880.9570.989P90.9710.9710.985P100.9860.9770.970P110.9950.9810.980P120.9480.7890.943P130.9920.9090.993P140.9900.8550.960P150.9870.9250.921P160.9750.8880.991 Open table in a new tab BackgroundConductive yarns allow collection of biosignals such as ECG with electrodes knitted in comfortable wearable garments.
