Study of three wake control strategies for power maximization of offshore wind farms with different layouts

•Three cooperative wake control strategies for wind farms are symmetrically studied.•A regular and an irregular realistic wind farm are taken as the research objectives.•The performances are analyzed in the full wind directions under three wind speeds.•The combined control strategy outperforms the only yaw and only induction control.
