Pesticide residues levels in raw cow's milk and health risk assessment across the globe: A systematic review

•We analyzed 35 original published articles reporting raw cow's milk contamination.•Pesticide residues were detected in raw cow milk across the globe.•Seasonal variability and agricultural activity can affect pesticide residue levels.•Using Target Hazard Quotients, pesticide exposure can affect human health.•Data actualization is recommended to evaluate pesticides effects.
