Fabrication of ultrasensitive and flexible strain sensor based on multi-wall carbon nanotubes coated electrospun styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene block copolymer fibrous tubes

•The strain sensor was based on SEBS fibrous tube and MWCNTs.•The strain sensor can reach a high sensitivity of 3.62 × 105 when the strain was 306%.•The strain sensor can easily be compressed and exhibit good response under the pressure of 0∼29.4 N.
