Full-coefficient Intelligent Adaptive Position Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Linear Motor

Permanent magnet synchronous linear motor (PMLSM) can directly convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. Compared with rotary motors, it can not only reduce the energy consumption of the system but also does not require an intermediate transmission device, which improves the operation accuracy and reduces the energy loss caused by mechanical structures such as gears. Given the increasing requirements for the control speed and accuracy of linear motors, a control method that considers both steady-state and dynamic performance is required. Therefore, this paper designs an intelligent adaptive position controller based on the motor characteristic model, and it can be seen through simulation and experiments that the controller designed in this paper has higher steady-state accuracy and faster response than traditional PI control. Speed and other advantages make the linear motor control system have both high control accuracy, fast response speed, strong robustness and other excellent performances, and can replace the work of traditional rotary motors with linear motors.
