摘要
•Synthesis of different molar concentrations of AgNPs (0.1M, 0.5 M, and 1.0 m) as a promising and novel adsorbent for removing bacteria DNA conveying ARGs.•AgNPs successfully removed bacteria DNA conveying ARGs from an aqueous solution through an adsorption study.•The operating parameters such as acidic pH, adsorbents dosage, competing ions, and contact time influenced the removal efficiency.•Isotherm and kinetic adsorption models were applied to determine the best fit for the adsorption study.
