摘要

•Rare earth element Y induced the amorphization of the dual-phase Mg alloys.•The diffusion of element Y promotes the migration of ACI.•With the increase of the content of element Y, the thickness of amorphous phase increases.•The mechanical behavior of Mg alloys can be changed by adjusting the content of element Y.
