Abstract
•A series of new fluorogenic hybrids containing lophine and cinnamic acid fluorochromes were synthesized with high yields.•The geometry of the hybrids was confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction and quantum chemistry methods.•The fluorescence spectroscopic data revealed that the hybrids are fluorescent probesfor detection of albumin proteins.•The molecular suppression fluorescence experiments are in agreement with theoretical calculations.
