摘要
•Chirped-pulse millimeter wave spectra of furan are recorded in the W-band region.•Ground state and four lowest excited vibrational states of furan are observed.•Pyrolysis nozzle is used to efficiently populate excited vibrational states.•Inertial defect is used to extract structural insight of the vibrational modes.•This work has potential application to astrochemistry and atmospheric chemistry.
