Abstract
•The paper is about design of a novel multijunction thermocouple.•Such thermocouple is manufactured by cheap, thick-film and flexible PCB technology.•Its signal to noise ratio is comparable with some thin-film technologies.•The construction can be successfully applied in thermal voltage standards.•A method for improvement of the design was presented and confirmed by measurements.
