Abstract
To explain the present neutrino oscillation data and observed baryon asymmetry of the universe simultaneously, we extend the well-known standard model (SM) by adding right-handed (RH) neutrinos and a few scalar fields (known as flavons) which transform nontrivially under the newly imposed discrete symmetries ( $$S_4,C_3,C_6$$ ) [1].
