Abstract
•Most commonly Drug induced hyperprolactinemia was seen in the female gender than in the male gender.•However, we report a rare case report on a drug induced hyperprolactinemia with gynecomastia in a young adult male.•Other than antipsychotics, antidepressants, anti-ulcer agents such as proton pump inhibitors and anti-histamines, prokinetic agents, anti-hypertensive agents followed by, hormonal agents and opioid and nonopioid analgesic agents are also associated with drug induced hyperprolactinemia.
