Abstract
Acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP) is a severe immune-inflammatory skin condition triggered by an infection or allergy. We herein report a rare case of a female patient with a scalp-restricted lupus erythematosus (LE) who developed a hydroxychloroquine (HCQ)-induced AGEP and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). This case report may provide recommendations to improve treatment and prevention of similar cases.
