Abstract
•Senna alata leaves extracts (SALEs) are rich in polyphenols.•Heat assisted extraction technology was efficient for phenolic extracts recovery.•Industrial SALEs production was achievable using SuperPro Designer software.•All the metrics indicated that SALEs production is profitable at large scale.
