Abstract

This paper presents an experimental study of the use of encryption techniques implemented in IoT devices, as BLE devices (Bluetooth Low Energy).An encryption technique, called SPECK and which uses block cipher, was successfully used and tested in commercialized BLE devices in the marketplace, therefore, in a real scenario.
