Treatment of chronic pain is inherently challenging given the subjective nature of pain that uniquely manifests within each patient. The availability of different approaches such as spinal cord stimulation (SCS), peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS), peripheral nerve field stimulation (PNFS) and occipital nerve stimulation (ONS) may help address this variability.
