摘要

•Oxide nanosize materials-modified MWCNTs were used to remove methylene blue.•XRD, BET, EDX, FESEM, and FTIR detected the character of nanoadsorbents.•V2O5:CeO2-modified MWCNTs exhibited higher efficiency than nano-MWCNTs.•Developed material achieved 63.77 % and 56.69 mg/g for methylene blue reduction.
