摘要
Self-driving cars are an old dream. As soon as 1939, car manufacturers started to envision a future where cities would be built with tracks instead of roads, where cars would be guided by those tracks without the need for drivers to steer or accelerate. Over the last decade, the number of ADAS technologies have exploded, notably with ever more connected cars (more sensors, links with smartphones, etc.). In this talk, we will present a study on drivers' attitudes to automated driving, gathered through Internet forums and a specifically designed questionnaire. We will also discuss situations, which are perceived as particularly risky by drivers, when interacting with automated cars, as well as the possible multisensory technologies, which could be proposed as cognitive assistance in these cases.
