Analysis of disturbance to secondary cable caused by single-phase grounding fault in typical 10kv distribution network

When a single-phase grounding fault occurs in the 10 kV distribution network, the ground potential rise caused by the current injected into ground will affect the reliable operation of the adjacent secondary cables. The authors carried out a single-phase grounding fault test at a typical 10 kV distribution network true test site. This paper analyzes the ground potential rise near the grounding point and its disturbance to secondary cables laid in the ground when a single-phase grounding fault occurs in a 10kV distribution network. The current injected into the ground is measured by a current probe. Through the CDEGS simulation software, the ground potential differences between the injection point as well as the observation points and the voltage reference point are obtained, and the disturbance voltage between coaxial cable core and shielding layer is obtained. The simulation results are consistent with the test results. Through simulation, the influence of factors such as soil resistivity as well as the distance between on-site cabinet and inject point on the disturbance voltage of the secondary cable is analyzed. The research results provide support for the design of the power corridor of the urban distribution network.
