Waveform design and processing method of pulse signal in anechoic chamber measurement

•The proposed waveform design method based on amplitude modulation solves the coupling problem between the transmitted signal and its echo.•The corresponding processing method can eliminate false peaks caused by the designed amplitude modulation signals, and realize target measurement in anechoic chamber.•The target can still be measured accurately under the influence of multipath clutter in anechoic chamber.
