Abstract
The study offers insights into potential firm-related antecedents of ICT enabled digital servitization strategy, essential for supply chain transformation. Based on the competencies perspective, this research paper look into the relationships between four antecedents, namely; (i) innovation appetite (ii) data analysis and management (iii) digital content creation (iv) soft skills and their subsequent impact on digital servitization transformation. Based on an online questionnaire, data obtained from 272 Indian manufacturing firms was analyzed by using Amos 23.0. Evaluation of the Structural Equation Model reveals a positive inter-correlation between all the four antecedents. It has also been that found all the four antecedents to be positively related to digital servitization transformation. It was further observed that digital servitization transformation also had a positive impact on firm performance. This paper has high implications for practicing managers and shall for pivotal for manufacturers looking forward to embrace digital servitization.
